Part of the magic that is Ebay is its power to help you track down things that you'd ordinarily have a lot more trouble buying. Today's fine example, movies from around the world. I'd picked up the Thai version of BackSlash a few months ago, and now the Japanese version of The Shadow Walkers is available on Ebay. (Amazon.co.jp too, just in case you were wondering.)

One drawback with this particular title is that I don't get to hear what I sound like in Japanese. While, yes, it's true that the monster noises you hear throughout the movie are me, it's also true that they're pretty much language-neutral.

So, you know, if you get me growling and grunting, it's kind of hard to tell whether I'm growling in English, Japanese, or Pig Latin.

It's really only when I'm growling in Swedish or Minnesotan than you can tell. Those growls are different.

But that's life. I also just found out I was on the poster for last year's American Film Market, which even I hadn't noticed before--not only because you have to look closely to tell it's me, but also because I hadn't even looked at all (closely or otherwise) until now.
